Most of this work could be considered close-up photography. Sometimes I achieve it by using special macrophotographic equipment and techniques. Other times I just point a telephoto lens at the subject and get my close-ups that way. In some cases, I have also used special techniques at the computer to get more depth of field or perhaps increase detail. I'm also fascinated with the colors of nature, and insects and spiders can show that more than just about any other animals I know. ALSO, be sure to visit my store at
